Drew Kaczmarek joined Square 134 Architects in 2018, bringing 4 years of design experience from his time in DC, Boston, and Ann Arbor. His experience includes multi-family residential, retail, office, and hospitality work. He enjoys crafting inspiring places through form, detail, and material. Award-winning projects include his master planning and architectural design work on the Fuzhou Heritage Park while at MG2, and his work on the Boston Logan Airport Kinetic Façade while at Arrowstreet.
Drew is a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor of Science, Master of Architecture, and Certificate in Real Estate Development. His academic achievements include first prize in the undergraduate student show publication in the student journal Dimensions, and the AIA Henry Adams Medal.
Aside from architecture, Drew also loves making music and traces much of his design understanding to his music background. He has enjoyed playing with many groups including the University of Michigan Drumline, and continues to make music at 7drumcity here in DC.
